What we believe isn’t a secret. It’s a circle.

At the Psyrcle, our beliefs are lived, practiced, and shared in ceremony. We don’t follow dogma. We follow reverence, curiosity, and connection. Below you’ll find our Statement of Beliefs—a living doctrine that grounds our work, guides our community, and defines our spiritual use of psilocybin mushrooms.

Welcome to The Psyrcle.

We’re a spiritually oriented organization rooted in the sacred use of psychedelic sacraments, scientific curiosity, and human connection. Our belief system is grounded in reverence, integrity, and a deep respect for the transformational potential of psilocybin. Also, we think laughter is sacred. (You try taking yourself too seriously while looking into the eyes of the universe)

What We Believe

1

Communion with the Divine is Everyone’s Birthright

We believe humans have an innate ability to commune with the divine, the infinite, the universe, source—whatever you prefer to call it. We don’t require dogma or doctrine to get there. Just intention, curiosity, and respect.

2

Psilocybin is a Sacred Tool for Consciousness Expansion

We hold that psilocybin mushrooms are sacred teachers—offering insight, healing, and expanded awareness when used responsibly and ceremonially. We treat them with the same reverence you’d give a wise elder or a particularly insightful mushroom.

3

Science and Spirit Can Sit at the Same Table

We believe in data-informed spirituality and spirit-informed science. There’s no conflict here—just different tools for understanding truth. Our sacramental mushrooms are cultivated and tested by scientists to ensure safety, potency, and integrity. Together, science and spirituality deepen our reverence and refine our practice.

4

Ceremony Matters

Setting, preparation, intention, and integration aren’t just trendy terms—they’re sacred commitments. We believe in guided, well-supported ceremonial journeys that are as safe as they are spiritually rich.

5

The Body is Sacred, Too

We believe in honoring the vessel that carries us. Our retreats are supported by medical professionals and designed with care. Emotional safety, trauma sensitivity, and physical well-being are not afterthoughts–they’re prerequisites.

6

Love is the Original Technology

Across all spiritual traditions, one message echoes loud and clear: Love is the point. We believe our sacraments remind us of this, and it’s our job to integrate that love into how we live, relate, heal, and serve.

7

Reverence Without Appropriation

We honor the life and legacy of Maria Sabina, the Mazatec curandera who opened the world’s eyes to the sacred use of psilocybin. Her courage and wisdom inspire us. We acknowledge that our practices today are made possible by Indigenous lineages, and we walk this path with humility, not entitlement.

8

Nature is a Portal

We believe the natural world is sacred. Mushrooms, mountains, microbes—all of it. Our connection to the Earth is not metaphorical. It’s literal, biological, and spiritual.

9

Community is the Container

We don’t journey alone. We believe in connection, integration, mutual support, and shared growth. Healing happens among safe, inclusive, and affirming community.

10

We’re Here to Heal and Evolve Together

At the heart of it all, we believe in the human capacity to grow, shed what no longer serves, reconnect with what matters, and co-create a more conscious, compassionate world. Psychedelics just happen to be very effective catalysts.

How we believe

Our Sacred Framework

The Divine

We believe the Divine is accessible, present, and experienced through many names and forms. It is both within and beyond us. Psilocybin sacraments help open the doors of perception to receive Divine truth and reconnect with our inner source.

Healing and Wholeness

We believe healing is a sacred act. It is not the absence of pain, but the presence of awareness, compassion, and integration. Psilocybin serves as a spiritual sacrament that facilitates this process by dissolving separation and illuminating inner truth.

Sacramental Use of Psilocybin

We believe psilocybin, when used intentionally and reverently, facilitates communion with the Divine. It is not recreational or casual—it is sacred. The sacrament must be treated with preparation, respect, and integration

Structure of Practice

Our sacramental use follows a ceremonial model rooted in spiritual preparation, mindful ingestion, guided journeying, and intentional integration. Ceremonies are led by trained facilitators and supported by medical and emotional safety protocols.

Integration

We believe integration is an act of devotion. The sacrament may offer insight, but the real work happens in how we live it. We support our members through peer support, integration resources, and ongoing fellowship.

Ceremony and Safety

Each ceremony includes the core pillars of sacred practice:

• Preparation and intention setting

• Informed consent and screening

• A ceremonial setting with trained guides

• Presence of a licensed medical professional

• Integration circles and community follow up

Our Commitments

• To uphold the sacred use of psilocybin in alignment with our spiritual principles

• To conduct all ceremonies with reverence, safety, and ethical responsibility

• To honor the lineages and traditions that came before us while cultivating our own path with integrity

• To support personal and collective healing

• To remain accountable to each other and to the sacred

Spiritual Fellowship

The Psyrcle is a spiritual fellowship—a container for shared experience, healing, and evolution. We do not follow a fixed dogma. We embrace a living, evolving path guided by ceremony, reflection, science, and spirit.

This is our living doctrine. It may evolve as we do. We hold these beliefs sincerely, and we uphold them through our ongoing spiritual practice, our community gatherings, and our sacramental ceremonies.

Why We Share This Publicly

We believe in transparency, not gatekeeping. Our beliefs are protected under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), but more importantly, they’re sincere, thoughtful, and shared with love.
